The Greatest News Ever
HONG KONG (AP) - Chinese NBA star Yao Ming will make a cameo appearance in an upcoming basketball-themed movie, also featuring Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou and South Korean singer BoA, a news report said Thursday. The Houston Rockets centre will spend a day filming for the Chinese-language film. Its title translates as Dunk, the Xinxi Shibao newspaper was told by the film's Taiwanese producer, Wu Dun. Chou, one of Chinese pop's biggest stars, will have the lead role, and his South Korean counterpart BoA, has also signed on, the report said. The report said Chou's lead character is a kung fu fighter turned basketball player. Chou has been developing his film career, appearing in the Japanese comic book-inspired film, Initial D, and is currently filming famed Chinese director Zhang Yimou's Curse of the Golden Flower. The report also said the budget of Dunk is estimated at $10 million US and that filming will take place in Taiwan and possibly China. Reporter name not available. Aiyuh....So hollywood's remaking a korean movie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il_MareI hope they do justice towards the original. Anyhow I looked up the weather of where I'm staying. A high of 72 degrees. Katharine on American Idol was amazing. Anyhow I'll have internet for a bit in New Jersey and New York. You can still reach me at my cell too. It's 2am. I literally stayed up the past 4 hours and sang along to chinese music videos on youtube. We need more people online at 2am. Wednesday: Looks like it's going to be a busy day. English,Chinese,quick lunch, drop off math hw, psychology research, bible study till uhh...it varies. Sometimes I get back as early as 11pm. Sometimes as late as 2 am. Thursday: Chinese, Lunch, Listening lab, Work on oral presentation and English paper, Math, Testing Center, Finish english paper, Finish Chinese oral presentation, clean up dorm. Friday: Psychology research, Chinese Saturday: AK AND LYDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prepare for 6 hours of korean dramas. Realistically, blah wake up at 7 am. ,Go to club leadership training/workshop/waste of time... Pack up.. Go home around 6-7ish Sunday: Church and then die Monday: English presentation and paper due, Chinese, Psychology final Tuesday: Chinese oral presentation, math project due. Go home till friday to take one test. 5/5: Chinese final 5/9: Math final....THEN IT'S OFFICIALLY SUMMER BREAK!!!!!! Let's do Chinese karaoke for the pilots.
